Since 1988, Laurel Property Services has been an essential thread in the fabric of the Jefferson County community. What began as the vision of our founder, Laurel (Laurie) Johnson, has evolved into a trusted firm that has cared for hundreds of local properties. Our history isn’t just defined by the homes we manage, but by a unique tradition of mentorship and a deep-rooted commitment to our neighbors in Golden, Arvada, Lakewood, and neighboring communities.
The Evolution of Local Expertise
The Laurel legacy is built on a foundation of professional mentorship. In 1994, Laurie Johnson welcomed Sondra Welsh to the team. Having grown up in the industry helping her grandmother run a management company, Sondra brought a lifetime of real estate experience to the firm. By 1999, Sondra became the owner of Laurel Property Services, successfully growing the company while becoming a pillar of the community—serving as the first female President of the Golden Lions Club and a longtime leader within the Golden Civic Foundation.
Third-Generation, Local Ownership
Over a decade ago, that tradition of mentorship continued when Crystal Vincent joined the team. As a lifelong Jefferson County resident, Crystal’s journey mirrored the path of those before her. She mastered every facet of the industry—advancing from Property Management Assistant, to Leasing Agent, to Managing Broker. Today, as the owner of Laurel Property Services, Crystal is proud to lead the third generation of this woman-owned firm, providing expert property management services to the community she has called home her entire life.
