Notice of Intent to Vacate

This form is to be completed by the Primary Resident of the household.

This form should only be submitted if all of the residents are vacating the property on the listed move-out date. If one or more residents are staying at the property, please DO NOT fill out this form. Instead, please contact our team at lps@laurelpropertyservices.com to begin the Lease Transfer process.

IF YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY UTILITIES IN ACCORDANCE TO YOUR LEASE, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THOSE BILLS UNTIL THE DATE ABOVE, EVEN IF YOU MOVE OUT EARLIER.

IF YOU ARE GIVING LESS THAN 60 DAYS NOTICE, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RENT AND UTILITIES UNTIL THE 60 DAYS NOTICE REQUIRED IS SATISFIED ACCORDING TO THE TERMS OF YOUR LEASE. NOTICE MUST BE GIVEN BY THE 1ST DAY OF THE MONTH. (i.e. For a notice given on April 5th, you would remain responsible until June 30th. For a notice given on April 1st, you would remain responsible until May 31st.)

IF YOU ARE BREAKING YOUR LEASE, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL RENT, UTILITIES, AND OTHER APPLICABLE FEES UNTIL THE END OF YOUR LEASE, OR THE DATE A NEW RENTER MOVES IN. YOU MAY ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING ANY CHARGES RELATED TO PLACING UTILITIES BACK INTO THE OWNER'S NAME, DUE TO EARLY TERMINATION.

PLEASE NOTE: PROPERTY IS NOT CONSIDERED VACATED UNTIL ALL KEYS RETURNED AND ACCOUNTED FOR AT LAUREL PROPERTY SERVICES OFFICE. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE KEYS AT THE PROPERTY WITHOUT PRIOR AGREEMENT WITH MANAGEMENT!

The property must be kept clean and orderly for showings. We will start marketing immediately, and showings may begin today. Resident(s) agree the Owner's Agent has the right to show the property to any prospective resident(s) at reasonable times upon receiving written notice from Resident(s) of an Intent to Vacate.

The Owner's Agent has furnished the above Resident(s) with instructions for cleaning in order to obtain a refund of Security Deposit by complying with the terms and conditions of the lease Agreements. (a Cleaning Guide will be emailed to you upon submission of this notice.)
